Victim in acid attack out of hospital

The 28-year-old victim of an acid attack was released Sunday from a Portland, Oregon, hospital, a nursing supervisor said, nearly a week after an unknown assailant threw a cup of the caustic liquid in her face.

Seven people, including three children, who were missing since Saturday night were rescued Sunday about 25 miles off the coast of Charleston, South Carolina, Sunday morning, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
